Scary Morning!

Scary phone call this morning at 6:45 a.m. (we got home LATE from Florida). Whiskey got stuck in the fence at his stable and was hung for a long time (barn manager checked everyone at 9:00 p.m. and found him at 6:30 a.m. this morning). Pam the barn manager said that Whiskey was covered in sweat with his right front foot stuck in the top rung of the fence - about 4 feet off the ground. Pam had to give him bute and banamine - he was shaking all over and covered with cuts/welts. He has a large bruise at the base of his sternum. He is a mess. We are watching him now to make sure that he doesn't colic due to stress - I have spoken with the vet and she said to call her if he gets any worse. Thanks to my friend Liz who came over this morning to help me with him. We love you, Whiskey!
